Regional Cooperation
Does it make sense to build another airport just 8.5 miles away from Prescott Municipal Airport? Or should Chino Valley follow its own recommendation in its 2003 General Plan and create a regional airport authority? Prescott Municipal Airport has already begun expansion to meet the region’s needs for decades to come. Another airport is not economically feasible or justifiable at this time.
